5 Easy Art Projects: Spray Paint T-shirts · Craftwhack
Hey! It's mean solar day iii of like shooting fish in a barrel art projects, and we are diving into spray-painted t-shirts. We really spray painted a cami top, but this can pretty much be washed on anything, including pants or your pillow example or the wall or the auto! Yay!
Now, non all of you volition want to let your kids use spray paint. If y'all are okay with it, just make sure you are using it outside, you aren't standing upwind from the paint, and you wear a dust mask.
Spray Paint t-shirts are fun because they are really quick to make, and yous go the feeling that y'all are a cool street creative person when yous are making them. But you're not breaking the law with shirts! And y'all go to wear them! Double win.
Materials:
- Spray paint (We used Rustoleum Paint Plus satin paints in the colors Eden and Aqua)
- Shirt
- Doily
Directions:
All you lot need to do is put a piece of paper-thin inside your shirt (to protect from bleed-through), lay your shirt in the grass or on a surface you don't mind getting pigment on.
Whenever y'all paint on a shirt, information technology's a skillful thought to wash it first to remove any sizing. After it's dried, iron it flat so you accept a shine press surface.
Take hold of the nigh lovely doily you tin can observe, and lay it wherever yous want it on your shirt. Nosotros didn't secure it down with anything.
Spray the top half with the 1st paint color, and the bottom half with the 2nd paint color.
Allow it dry. Launder it. Wear it.
